Rachel Myers Meakin album, 1845.

Album consisting of poems, drawings, music, and watercolors. Includes fragments of autograph verse by Wordsworth and Southey, and a silhouette of Southey, as well as watercolors of butterflies and piano scores of two short musical pieces. Covers are elaborately tooled, with a pen-and-ink drawing of a country estate mounted in the center. Housed together with its former cloth binding in a cloth case.
